Pre-launch notice: paid sales and the customer app are not available yet. This notice describes known product plans and information categories, not a completed audit of the final shipping app. We will verify the actual release-build data flows, provider details and retention periods before checkout is enabled.
Who operates Continua?
Continua is independently developed. The operator’s legal name and business contact will be published before accepting paid orders.
Early-access email updates
If you choose to join the early-access list, your browser submits your email address and affirmative email-consent choice to Continua’s website. Our hosting provider processes the request and the website sends the email address to Brevo, which stores it in the Continua Waitlist contact list and sends the confirmation email. Hosting and email services may process routine request metadata to operate and protect their services. We use the signup to contact you about Continua early access and launch; it is not a purchase or automatic paid subscription. You can withdraw consent and request deletion by contacting the address on our Support page.
Local task information
Continua is designed to observe local Codex task/thread and project identifiers, usage-limit events and reset times, and to store the minimum state necessary to resume the intended task safely. Codex rollout data or conversation material may be encountered by local integration mechanisms; exactly which fields are read or retained is under release-build review. Do not assume that 'local-first' means no personal data is processed.
Licensing and payments
Once payments open, Lemon Squeezy will process checkout, payment and subscription information under its own applicable notice. Continua’s licensing flow may send the key, activation/instance identifiers and verification metadata to Lemon for activation and validation. We do not need to receive full payment-card details to operate the app. Actual identifiers, retention and provider roles will be verified before launch.
Website, updates and support
Hosting infrastructure may receive routine access information, such as IP addresses, request times and user-agent details. The app may request Continua version and compatibility metadata when checking for updates. If you contact support, we will receive what you choose to send, including your email and any diagnostics; do not include passwords, payment-card details, full source code or license keys.
When basic website analytics is enabled in production, Continua uses Umami. The setup is cookieless and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. It records page paths, referrers, browser/OS/device categories, coarse location such as country or region derived from request metadata, and a small set of interaction events such as reaching the product demo or clicking a call to action. We configure the tracker to respect Do Not Track and to exclude URL query strings. A recognised campaign link can attach one of our fixed channel labels to interaction events. Only that label is kept in this tab’s session storage to connect a visit with a successful signup; arbitrary parameter values are ignored. We do not send email addresses, consent values or other waitlist form fields to analytics, and Umami states that IP addresses are not stored.
Continua does not use session replay, keystroke capture, form-field recording, heatmaps or advertising trackers on this website. Website typography is served from the visitor’s own system fonts rather than requesting Google Fonts from Google’s servers.
Children
Continua is a general-audience developer utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not ask visitors to provide their age as part of the waitlist. If we learn that an email address was submitted by a child under 13, a parent or guardian can contact us using the privacy address below and we will remove it from the waitlist.
Retention, recipients and your choices
Local app state is intended to be stored on your Mac; removing it does not automatically erase purchase/accounting information held by the payment provider. Provider records and legally required business records may have their own retention obligations. Concrete retention periods, international transfers, recipients and applicable access, correction, deletion and complaint procedures will be added after the data inventory is verified.
