Supplier and payment provider

The independent individual software supplier’s verified legal and contact details will be published before sales open. Lemon Squeezy is the intended merchant of record for checkout and subscription payments.

What is included

Continua Personal is a macOS utility for supported genuine short-term Codex usage-limit interruptions. Either purchase option covers up to two active Macs for Continua 1.x. The one-time licence is non-expiring; the annual option requires an active paid entitlement. Any 1.x updates we release are included. Future major upgrades are optional and separately priced. We aim to maintain supported versions, without promising indefinite maintenance, a fixed update schedule or compatibility with all future upstream releases. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Continua does not increase, bypass or extend Codex quotas, and it is not an OpenAI product.

Supported macOS, ChatGPT/Codex builds and power/host requirements must be published before paid checkout opens. Normal system sleep, a closed MacBook lid or an unavailable original Codex host may delay continuation. No uninterrupted or universal future compatibility is guaranteed.

Licence validation and offline use

Both options require an internet connection for first activation and periodic licence checks with Lemon Squeezy. After successful validation, temporary network failures allow up to 14 days of offline grace. After that, reconnect before protecting a new task. A one-time licence has no scheduled expiry or renewal, but still depends on licence validation and supported third-party software. A licence restriction does not interrupt an already protected task.

Price, consent and renewal

The recommended option is £18.99 once for Continua 1.x, with no renewal. Alternatively choose £12.99/year, automatically renewing at the same £12.99/year unless cancelled. There is no monthly plan, free trial or introductory renewal increase. Applicable taxes and the final checkout total will be displayed by the merchant of record before payment, together with the subscription consent and receipt. Any later price change requires applicable notice and customer rights.

Cancel future renewal

Use Manage subscription / Cancel renewal to access the payment provider’s customer portal when paid subscriptions open. Cancellation prevents future annual charges; access normally remains through the paid-through period, subject to the actual subscription status. Pausing monitoring, deactivating a Mac or uninstalling Continua does not cancel billing.

Refunds and statutory rights

We intend to honour first-purchase refund requests submitted within 14 calendar days of the original charge; see how to request a refund. This voluntary policy does not remove any applicable statutory withdrawal, conformity, non-delivery or defective-digital-content remedies. Cancellation and a refund request are different actions.

Safety, user responsibilities and third-party software

Continua depends on ChatGPT/Codex and macOS, which can change independently. It is designed to stop new unattended actions when it cannot confirm a safe exact task, host or compatible environment. Codex may modify your files; review changes and keep appropriate version control and backups. Continua will not silently change host or auto-approve dangerous permissions. These statements do not waive mandatory consumer protections.
